The Council of the District of Columbia will host a confirmation hearing for the Board of Election members on December 16.In late June, a bill was proposed in the city council in Washington, D.C., to ban alcohol sales in the district. He has attained bar admissions in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia and continues to civically engaged in outreach community projects. Richardson served as a board member for the United Medical Center and District of Columbia Public Schools Parent Teacher Association at Hyde-Addison Elementary School. During that time, he received the prestigious District of Columbia Meritorious Public Service Award. As General Counsel, Richardson was the Mayor's advocate and proactively worked with Councilmembers, District residents and activists groups. He represents individuals with trust estate, leasing, asset sales, contracts, civil disputes, contract and real estate matters, Richardson formerly served in the Fenty Administration as General Counsel for the Executive Office of the Mayor, where his team helped resolve high-stakes problems. ![]() Lewis is a resident of Ward 7.Īndrew ‘Chip’ Richardson is the principal attorney with the Richardson Firm. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Law in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from the George Washington University Law School. She was nominated as the American Bar Association-Presidential Appointee for the Task Force to Examine Association Policies Impacting Recruitment and Retention of Law Students and Youth Lawyers. Lewis served as the Regional Director for Region XII of the National Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Litigation Forum for the Women’s Bar Association. Lewis actively manages a rapidly growing litigation docket of local and nationwide employers-employees cases. Danzansky is a resident of Ward 3.ĭionna Lewis serves as an associate of the Fay Law Group LLC – the Washington, DC office for labor and employment. He graduated from Washington & Lee University and the George Washington University School of Law. Danzansy previously worked as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Law. He has also has served as an officer and director of numerous civic and cultural organizations, including the Washington Area Olympic Committee, Greater Washington Sports Authority, the YMCA, and the Washington Urban League. Stephen Danzansky has served as the Deputy Assistant to the President for Economic Affairs Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Cabinet Affairs and presidential appointee under the tenure of under three Republican administrations. A graduate of the University of Texas, Schwartz resides in Ward 1. Schwartz has worked on behalf of numerous organizations dedicated to the trust and security of life in the District. With her long-time involvement in Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, she has strengthened relationships with key stakeholders, elected officials, community members, and coalition partners in efforts to influence lives of residents in the District of Columbia.
